# Carbon > Carbon is a free, open-source macOS app for running coding agents: Claude Code, Codex, pi, fx and Grok Build. It runs the official agent CLIs on your existing subscriptions, many sessions at once, on your Mac or on remote machines. ## Features - Parallel sessions: run many agents at once, each optionally in its own git worktree. - Orchestration: agents start and message other sessions through the `carbon` CLI, and can have a second model review their work. - Remote machines: run agents on a Linux server or another Mac, driven from the Mac app. Sessions keep running after the app quits. - Pull requests and issues: checks, review comments and merge beside the chat. Start sessions from GitHub or Linear issues. - Built-in browser: agents open, test and screenshot your dev server. `carbon share` gives it a public link. - Notch: from any app on your Mac, dictate to a session, read and reply to it, answer its questions and approve tool calls. - Dictation: on-device speech to text, in the app or from the notch. - Privacy: your data stays on your machine. ## FAQ - Is Carbon free?
